On March 8, 2013, Women’s Voices Worldwide, Inc. presented a Celebration of Speech at First Churches in Northampton, MA in honor of International Women’s Day.

Local girls and women presented speeches, both historical and contemporary, and local musicians performed between segments. The event included works by Gloria Anzaldua, Hillary Clinton, and Amherst-native Emily Dickinson, as well as many more.
