The store received a grant from the Community Supported Agriculture commission to create the mural to help re-brand the business. Elisabeth is also painting two more murals inside the store. The artist is “free handing” the painting, but she draws inspiration from the many farms in the Valley.
The artist estimates that she has created about 70 murals in Florida, Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, To quote her interview in the Daily Hampshire Gazette: “Life should be colorful. Life should be about your community.”
