Screenwriting 101 Class

Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Do you have a great movie in your head, but don’t know quite how to communicate it to your cast and crew? This class will help you get that blockbuster idea down on paper! In the 2-hour session, participants will learn proper screenplay format, tips on how to structure a short or feature-length plot, and methods for thinking and writing “visually.”

We will use the scriptwriting software Celtx, a great online resource for screenwriters, and see real examples of how films go from script to screen.  Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop if possible.
