In this video, 22-year-old Emanuel tells his story on what it is like to immigrate from El Salvador to the United States without any documents.

On May 20th 2014 due to the to the extreme violence caused by gangs and the high unemployment rates in El Salvador, Emanuel saw not other choice but to leave his family behind and cross Guatemala and Mexico to make it into the United States.

Emanuel talks about the fear, the persecution and the physical and emotional violence that he lived with during his 25-day journey.
